[ipad] iPadOS 13 Firewall issues

Hi

 

Is anyone else getting issues on the beta of iPadOS13 where the user gets an error message when trying to browse the internet . When trying to go to any website they get the error 'Safari cannot open the page because it could not establish a secure connection to the server.'.

This only has started happening on iPadOS13, and it works fine on iOS 12.

 

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Does your webfilter / firewall certificate use the SHA-1 hash algorithm or have the DNS name missing from its Subject Alternative Name?

So our Fierwall the certificate it provides for the website has SAN DNS names. But the certificate abovwe that (CA) that our firewall uses and theone pushed out as a trusted cert via MDM doesnt. it is an SHA256 though that got change a year or 2 ago when chrome started complaning about sha-1

Thanks for that. But we are using SHA-2. I will have a look at the DNS name being missing or not
