Office 2019 pro install hanging

hey

 

i have come to setup office 2019 pro plus volume licencing edition, i see that MS have removed the msi install so i have followed a guide that was given to be but the install just hangs on " we are getting everything ready "

 

so i have done the following

 

created ODT folder on the c: drive

ran the following command setup /download configuration.xml

then ran the following command setup /configure configuration-Office2019Enterprise.xml

 

but still not getting anywhere

 

any suggestions

It took me awhile to bend my head around the process to. Ended up with a folder studeture that contains a DATA folder , xmls & setup.exe .

to get the files you need to run to setup.exe /download Custom_config_file.xml. this the downloads Office.

when you run the setup config.xml make sure that the sourcepath is correct

Had this problem for a while now, sorted it by downloading to desktop then Open folder and pull out Data Config & setup so they sit on the Desktop. Open CMD as administrator, RClick on setup get properties and copy location then paste after System32>cd hit enter, command line should now say c:\Users\whoever.Desktop-"NAME|Desktop>/download Now type setup /Config.xml & Hit Enter & wait (this will take a while).

when this is done type setup /configure config.xml you should get the Office 2019 splash screen come up once installed go to accounts and enter you MAK and activate.
