ap_ Posted June 25, 2019 Posted June 25, 2019 Following on from this thread Adobe CC License for 100+ devices I believe that historically, Adobe Device licenses (now Shared Device licenses) have been the preferred model for multiple users in multiple IT suites. I think this was due to login issues when using Named User licenses in such environments i.e. Named User licenses worked well if the user was using the same machine all the time but if multiple users were using the same machine then login problems would occur. Is this correct in your experience and if so is this still the case? Are there any schools who successfully use Named User licenses in multiple IT suites with more than two students using the same machine at different times of the week?
free780 Posted June 25, 2019 Posted June 25, 2019 We have a HE group who asked for the 2019 versions. That was in place since March. However they are using the same PC (1:1). We're planning on deploying 2019 apps this summer. So September could be interesting.
