Hello,

 

I'm trying to help our Interim sixth form head, as she's been thrown into a Governors meeting.

 

Is there a way, similar to how SIMS creates the individual reports that a report or marksheet can be created that show subject one grades etc, subject two etc, subject three etc.

 

So student per row and then subjects along the top but minimal columns.

If not, any suggestions how I can make the marksheet create one in excel?

This is the holy grail.

 

However I just get by with a marksheet with all the subjects across the top and all the kids as rows.

 

Ultimately I have external software that handles this for me, though it wouldn't be beyond a bit of clever Excel to reformat it so you can have subject 1,2,3 etc rather than ALL the columns.

 

The issue with doing it an easy way is that the computer doesn't know how many subjects the kids are supposed to be doing in 6th form - we've got reg/pshe/re/3 alevels (but sometimes 4) and then some elective subjects on top - so the count per student can vary between 5 and 10! (only 3 of which anyone really cares about).

What about using general student list, include academic option on the right hand side and use the blocks option, that way minimal columns hopefully you only have 4/5 blocks and then the subjects show against the block?
