Anyone moved off premises to HWB (either Google or MS)

As title, has anyone moved away from on premises storage and control to HWB, either GAPS or O365 ?

 

Or gone their own way and signed up as a school instead?

 

I'm trying to work out the pitfalls with either, current HT is talking about a move to Google from a MS in house storage system using o365 for mail.

 

We have access to GAPS via HWB and we are signed up as a school (not using either currently)

We're slowly moving to google but not within hwb. We have found hwb to be unreliable and with gsuite being free anyway it makes sense to have our own tenancy.

We are trialling both google and O365 here, currently we run in house exchange / servers etc. Our only issue with moving full-time to cloud services is we are on a PBSA link administered by our LEA and on average it will go down for half a day every month, and it'll go down for 20 minutes once a week. (each side blames the other etc etc...)

I'm not sure Hwb is flexible enough to do this yet. The level of control it offers hampers your ability - it's a hundred times better than it was but we still have our own O365 tenancy with linked GSuite, run from ADFS back to our on-site DCs.
