LeMarchand Posted June 6, 2019 Posted June 6, 2019 Was beginning to think this was never going to come out as there have been lots of behind the scenes changes and filming finished over a year ago. "The series takes place in a Victorian fantasy world in which mythical creatures have fled from their war-torn countries and ended up in Carnival Row, the grimiest section of the (unspecified) city. Mysterious murders threaten the inhabitants of the Row, as well as tensions between the fantasy beings and regular humans. Cara Delevingne stars as refugee faerie Vignette Stonemoss with Orlando Bloom as human detective Rycroft Philostrate." Sounds like it could be a bit early China Mieville.
LeMarchand Posted July 28, 2019 Author Posted July 28, 2019 Amazon so pleased with what they've seen they've said it's ale=ready gong to get a second season.
Arthur Posted August 1, 2019 Posted August 1, 2019 The trailer below is playable from 6th August 2019 @ 20:00.
LeMarchand Posted September 19, 2019 Author Posted September 19, 2019 It looks like the leader of the opposition is going to find a dimensional portal and give up his pacifist ways, becoming a soldier for the Burgh. (Found on Reddit)
LeMarchand Posted September 17, 2022 Author Posted September 17, 2022 Season 2 is finally being released November 4th. It seems that Amazon have given up on the show (probably not helped by Covid-induced production delays) and this will be the last. Filming started almost 2 years ago and finished a year ago - even allowing fo post production work/FX this seems a bit of a delay. I have my doubts as to whether they were able to shoot a "proper" ending . 1

LeMarchand Posted March 1, 2023 Author Posted March 1, 2023 Considering that they've given the show the push, there are a lot of Season 2 videos on the Prime YT channel. 1
