Other: EasyTrace. However, we might be changing soon. No news on what/who the new provider might be, or even if it will happen at all.

 

Side note: When I joined the school I was told that I would be supporting EasyTrace for THREE WEEKS. That was over 16 YEARS ago!

Not sure why we are changing really. Yes, there are issue with EasyTrace. But every system SOME has issues. I think it's more about changing the way that the Canteen works overall.

 

I am on the periphery and will have to mop up the consequences of any 'whoopses'

Its a fairly simple thing - c# front end and admin tool, MSSQL database. Runs on a couple of touchscreen Very PC devices in the kitchen. Been running it for a good 7 years now.

 

Little service that runs periodically pulling data from SIMS to update the users etc... Another service that works with ParentMail to sync with them (getting that right was a bit of a faff but its been pretty solid).
