5nowman Posted June 7, 2019 Posted June 7, 2019 Did this remove the run as administrator and uninstall? I am planning to test out the "Enable disable right-click context menu " worked for windows 7.. group policy somewhere
mproffitt1983 Posted June 7, 2019 Posted June 7, 2019 Yes they work for us. We have "Disable context menus in the Start Menu" Enabled but it didn't do anything.
gaz003 Posted June 7, 2019 Author Posted June 7, 2019 student policy - to remove the uninstall User Configuration | Administrative Template | Start Menu and Taskbar - Prevent users from uninstalling applications from Start – Enabled To remove run as administrator we added a registry item in group policy HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curre ntVersion\Policies\Explorer Value Name: HideRunAsVerb Type: REG_DWORD Value Data: 1
