I just burst out laughing when this happened yesterday. Just sums up EE all over, can't even get the current 4G working in most places so what chance have they with 5G.

Brilliant. I'm looking forward to 5G but I wouldn't be an early adopter.. pay a big price to get a "beta" service. I'll wait 3-4 years thanks.

There's only about 4 phones out at the moment and they are similar to 4G prices.

 

As far as im aware only EE have rolled out network hardware to use for public use and I think its only in Belfast, Birmingham, Cardiff, Edinburgh, London, Manchester.

 

I had an early 4G phone and never had any issues on EE.

Personally I think they should concentrate on fixing the blind spots in the UK that don't even have 3G yet!!

Apparently it was the BBC's fault as the Sim card had run out of data which they used to stream the 5G signal.........not as you stated EE's fault.....

Apparently this is part of the plan. Which is why the Orkney's already have 5g.

Still made laugh though including the main BBC news reader[emoji6] EE maybe at the forefront for 5G but they still have poor coverage in lots of other areas on the current systems, I see 5G not making one bit of difference in that respects.
