Does anyone know what the most recent version of Sketchup was where you don't have to go through a registration process to use it? I've gone on the Sketchup site and it takes you to elmtec.co.uk for education enquiries, but their website is down. Or does anyone have a helpful way of getting a version working please?

SketchUp Make 2017 (v17.2.2555). However, if your school already has G Suite for Education it's very easy to setup SketchUp for Schools.

To skip the trial period in SketchUp Make, download the 2017 license MSI from this post. All this does is a create a file named SketchUp.lic in "C:\ProgramData\SketchUp\SketchUp 2017" containing the following text.

 

##NonCommercialUse,NoTrial

 

To accept the EULA, disable the update check and set the default template configure the following registry values.

+1 for G Suite version (if you have G Suite).
