maxrebo Posted May 23, 2019 Posted May 23, 2019 AFAIK there`s no way of hiding or stopping removal of the MDM\Apple Configurator profile on IOS, is this still the case? . Does anyone have any suggestions on how to stop the pupils taking this off?. Words got around now on the location of the profile and that if they remove this then they can get to apps which were hidden using Apple configurator and\or Lightspeed. Thanks
localzuk Posted May 23, 2019 Posted May 23, 2019 In Apple Configurator you can make the profile password protected. Or in most MDM solutions you can tick a box preventing its removal. 1
tmoon-mint Posted May 23, 2019 Posted May 23, 2019 In order to prevent users from removing the MDM profile you would need to use DEP. Profiles containing configuration from AC2 you can add a passcode to prevent removal when configuring them.
