chazzy2501 Posted May 23, 2019 Posted May 23, 2019 Whilst doing my usual stumble on the HP website for new drivers, I found this handy page that I'd wish I'd found years ago. For those who don't know, HP do a driver collection for your device that they certify to work on your version of Windows. So I'm now downloading a 550MB driver package for my HP 640 G1 laptops that are for Windows 10 1809! This will help my WDS deploy! https://ftp.hp.com/pub/caps-softpaq/cmit/HP_Driverpack_Matrix_x64.html I found this under the SCCM stuff (which I don't use, so never looked) Pity the 8460p is aged out (I'll have to manually search for win10 drivers still) 1

Arthur Posted May 23, 2019 Posted May 23, 2019 (edited) Do you also have the link for Dell? Here's the link for Dell... www.dell.com/support/article/uk/en/ukdhs1/sln312414/dell-command-deploy-driver-packs-for-enterprise-client-os-deployment?lang=en Microsoft also do the same for their Surface devices. https://support.microsoft.com/en-gb/help/4023482/surface-download-drivers-and-firmware-for-surface If you use SCCM you might also want to take a look at the Driver Automation Tool. Arthur Posted May 23, 2019 Posted May 23, 2019 Is there link for Toshiba Laptops as well? I'm not aware of any for Toshiba / Dynabook PCs.
mrstrong Posted May 23, 2019 Posted May 23, 2019 I've been experimenting with MDT recently and windows 10 LTSC 2019. Trying on some very old laptops that originally came with XP, now running win 7 I was expecting to have driver issues but so far it seems to have found working drivers for everything (apart from a cardbus slot). Haven't had to import a single driver (must all be in the LTSC 2019 iso?) so may be worth trying a deploy first and then checking in device manager for anything missing you need.
sted Posted May 23, 2019 Posted May 23, 2019 fujitsu do as well but you need to install some downloader client. Its always searching for laptop model sccm drivers as they work with basically any deployment method
Fazza Posted May 23, 2019 Posted May 23, 2019 (edited) Do you also have the link for Dell? If you use SCCM you can use this: https://www.dell.com/support/article/uk/en/ukdhs1/sln311125/dell-command-integration-suite-for-system-center?lang=en You dont have to download and import anything as it does it all for you!
