Not receiving emails from twitter

Strange issue! Couple of users reported that they were trying to reset their work twitter account passwords after being locked out. When they go through forgotten password it sends an email to their account, however that email never arrives.

 

I have just tried signing up to twitter using my work account and when it sends confirmation to my email to complete setup i never get the email.

 

Nothing being blocked on our smoothwall so looks like it is office 365 but have no idea where to look.

We've had this too. Sometimes they come through days later, sometimes never!

Twitter emails are just rubbish, think @Garacesh has the same issue on a different mail system? (Forgot if you're on 365 or that weird MDaemon or something)

 

Nothing ever shows in the 365 traces as even having attempted to have been delivered. The only way I've managed to get them is by turning email notifications off, clicking "Resend email", then turning them on again. Eventually (takes between 2 and 10 goes) an email will arrive.

You're not using an email rule that blocks hyperlinks using URL shorteners, are you?

Twitter have one of their own IIRC.

I can't even see a message hit our office 365 from twitter so it is really strange

Does the same with my personal 365 domains and with all the school domains on 365. MS say "if it's not showing in the message trace then it hasn't attempted to connect so out of our control", Twitter say "check your spam filter".
