What are the risks to remove vrrp config from HP in live environment

Hi All,

Does anyone know if any downtime is involved for removing vrrp on a vlan. Switches are 8206zl both have ip routing enabled and running OSPF

The edgeswitches are plugged into the switch which is the vrrp owner so I was thinking of removing vrrp from the vrrp backup first then do the vrrp owner.
