[ms office - 2016] Frustrating issue with Word 2016 not printing

We have an frustrating odd issue within Word 2016 where it comes to printing. It is installed on computers with Windows 10 Education 1803.

 

If you type any less than one paragraph it won't print!! Is goes through the action of printing as in spools then vanishes and nothing prints. Yet if you add a more text it prints without any problem. All other programs seem to work fine when printing no matter how many words or paragraphs. We have updated drivers, also universal drivers, checked printer and Word settings, but nothing i can see that would effect printing.

 

Anyone have any ideas what this issue could be or how to resolve it?
