b3n_lynch Posted April 10, 2019 Posted April 10, 2019 Hi, Has anyone found a way to start an MDT task sequence over Wifi? This is a post OS deployment task sequence and it only needs to install a few applications. The TS itself works fine over a wired connection but over wireless it gives a 'Could not connect to deployment share' error message. Is there a way around this?
b3n_lynch Posted April 10, 2019 Author Posted April 10, 2019 I can manually connect/map to the deployment share fine over wireless. I think there is some kind of check within litetouch.wsf (or one of the other script that this relies on) which makes sure that you're using a wired adapter.
Steve21 Posted April 10, 2019 Posted April 10, 2019 If you're trying to do it in PE you'd have to modify it to enable wireless as it used to be disabled by default without the DLLs to run, or is this sequence in "normal" windows? Been so long since I used MDT on it's own can't remember if it only worked in PE Steve
