I’m studying for my Msca cert at the moment and am really interested in how nanoserver and containers can be used in my schools network.

We’re only a small school with a file server, a hyperv host and two Dc’s (one virtual one physical).

The question I have is what sort of real world use do you guys have for nanoserver or containers?

Thanks

Nano server is dying, I personally would not recommend investing too much time into it.

It was great to start, a tiny UI-less OS that could run Hyper-V and other such infrastructure roles. Didn’t differ much from server core except in size but was looking promising...

Then they ripped out all infrastructure support and left it with containers only which to be honest I’d rather run Linux for that sort of thing.

It looks like they are studying for the exam so don't have much choice.
