[ltsb, 1607] Windows Media Player & DVD's

Just come across an issue whereby DVD's are shown as "UNKNOWN DISC" - I presume this is a known issue under this OS as internet chatter seems to be to install VLC player.

 

We generally to advise staff to use VLC and 99% of the time that works fine, but for this certain DVD VLC won't play it, hence trying to use WMP.

 

Dodgy disc I suspect but wonder if anyone else had any suggestions as to good 3rd party apps for DVD playing?

have you updated vlc player work fine with us just the loder dvd have a problam find the video files the bigone then click on the flie and it opens fine after this

MPC-BE and PotPlayer are good, although I would also try the latest version of VLC first.
