[sims] Exams Organiser "N Grade" for Edexcel

Hi there,

 

We are struggling with importing results for 3 students who have achieved an "N Grade" for "Near Pass" for Edexcel BTEC. Exams organiser doesn't seem to like it. We are all up to date with patches apart from Patch 24760.

 

Has anyone managed to import any Students with "Near Pass" grades this morning? If so - is there anything you needed to change to achieve this?

From the MyAccount forums it looks like you need to apply

13/02/2019 SIMS Patch 24680 [3.63.146-3.63.242] BTR 30413 - Exams : Added JC 75 Gradeset and BTEC- L3 Level 1.15.142.1 Downloaded 6.14 KB Patch Can be auto deployed Patch can be run once only

(which replaced patch 24015) and re-import the latest basedata. I'm just trying that at one of our schools now.

I've already added this on the date - will look at redeploying however!

 

Edit : Seems that our "tolerance" was not met with our sims database when I deployed beforehand.

If you refresh your basedata from Edexcel Online (January 2019 basedata file) and then reimport the results - this worked for us.

Yep, that worked! We just have a little issue with a single OCR grade - but apart from that all was smooth after the basedata re-import
