Ayaz Posted May 5, 2008 Posted May 5, 2008 We have a shed load of crt's at our school that we would like to get rid of. Does anyone know of any company or organisation that will take them off our hands for free?
ChrisH Posted May 5, 2008 Posted May 5, 2008 There are usually local companies that can do this but as we dont know your location nobody is going to pipe up.
Joanne Posted May 6, 2008 Posted May 6, 2008 ring your local authority and see who they use. They might even provide a service for schools.
Advocate Posted May 6, 2008 Posted May 6, 2008 There is a company in Wellingborough called computer wholesale center - they specialise in collection and recylcling of IT euipment, they save us a fortune in waste disposal. They usually collect free of charge and will give you all the serial no's ect so you can write off equipmet. Conctact Neil or Karl on 07787562733 tell them Tina sent you.
vikpaw Posted May 7, 2008 Posted May 7, 2008 I can vouch for CWC, Karl's a top bloke. They also refurbish and sell anything that's half decent. We've got a lot of top notch old school laser printers from them. There used to be a council run initiative based in Kettering called Recycle-IT as well but i think that got abandoned.
