Weedling out info from an Excel spreadsheet (Excel 2013)

Hi,

I have a 60 page spreadsheet which contains all of the assets for our school. I need to extract information from this spreadsheet about desktop PCs so that I am only left with items called 'Desktop PC'.

Is there a way that Excel can separate this info from the rest of the data in the spreadsheet?

Definitely.

 

Data > Filter

 

The top row of all your data will appear with a dropdown arrow.

 

Find the column of names and filter it to "Desktop PC"
