Windows 10 Drive Mappings

Hello,

 

Just wondered if anyone had experience the odd issue with Windows 10 mapping drives ?

 

In this instance they are connecting to a Windows 2008 domain. Other Windows 10 machines connect ok, but the odd ones seem to have issue connecting mapped drives.T

I've been fighting some drive mappings not working also, same domain setup, what windows 10 version is the offending/ working machines on?

If you're mapping drives via GPO, try leaving the 'reconnect' checkbox unchecked.

I've now found that a GP with Scope filtered by security group seems to fail, but one with item level targeting on the actual Drive maps and "Authenticated Users" at the top level seems more reliable.
