Has anyone with one of these pieces of garbage come across this particular problem?

I’m on VM and when we moved into this house, they gave us a SuperHub 3. It has never been good but in the last couple of months, it’s developed a very odd problem.

Every so often, it stops handing out IP addresses. Devices with static IPs work fine when this happens but not DHCP clients. I’ve seen this happen on Macs, iPads and iPhones and my work Windows laptop. Power cycling the thing fixes it, albeit temporarily. It’s as if it’s DHCP daemon has crashed.

Giving a device which never leaves the house a static IP address is fine but not so useful for phones.

Honestly, I thought the Netgear thing was bad enough. This Arris POS makes it look fantastic in comparison. Even without this problem, signal strength across the house is diabolical. I just hope that this doesn’t infect Ruckus hardware, considering Arris is now the parent company of Ruckus.

Heard lots of superhub 3 issues. I’m still on superhub2 but have ran it is modem only mode for a long time. A Mikrotik takes cares of everything else.

Ditto - only ever in modem mode here too
