Kerboodle & Web filtering

This one has caused many interruptions to teaching. There are unresolved issues when Kerboodle is used with web filtering in place. Although a detailed list of domains supplied by Kerboodle support is now included in web filtering whitelist, issue persist such as blank pages when trying to download a resource contained on Kerboodle site. It is difficult to narrow down what causes this, as is difficult to expect students to use developer tools in browser to troubleshoot the issue when it happens. By the way, developer tools are disabled by users gpo as network security measure. Web filtering system has a feature called "refresh DNS cache" which helps but only temporarily, and it is a one off manual procedure that cannot be scheduled hourly or otherwise.

What else could be used to find the cause of blank pages when downloading form Kerboodle, without compromising network security?

No other resources are exhibiting this issue apart form Kerboodle.
