synaesthesia Posted February 27, 2019 Posted February 27, 2019 On one hand, I need this. On the other, I could glue a battery pack onto my 1+3 for the same result. Could DIY one with 18,000mah easily at roughly the same dimensions (6 x 3000mah 18650s in parallel, or could push it to 21000mah with the new 3500mah batteries)
elsiegee40 Posted February 27, 2019 Posted February 27, 2019 I’ll stick to my Anker battery pack and a lighter phone.
FN-GM Posted February 27, 2019 Posted February 27, 2019 We will be back to calling mobile phones bricks.
jthompson Posted February 27, 2019 Posted February 27, 2019 If they're going to make it that thick, at least put a couple of full size USB ports, VGA, HDMI and ethernet on there.
elsiegee40 Posted February 27, 2019 Posted February 27, 2019 We will be back to calling mobile phones bricks. Retro is cool isn’t it?! Having been there and fallen off them in the seventies, I couldn’t understand why platform shoes became trendy again. Turning a phone back into a brick would be beyond my comprehension too.
elsiegee40 Posted February 27, 2019 Posted February 27, 2019 It would only make it until 5pm at BETT! I wouldn’t make it that far. I don’t need more weight to wear me out quicker at BETT. My energy levels deplete too quickly as it is!
Arthur Posted April 30, 2019 Posted April 30, 2019 Energizer’s 18,000mAh phone-battery monster is an Indiegogo flop Today, Avenir’s Indiegogo campaign for the Energizer battery-with-a-phone-in-it concluded with a whimper, having accumulated a scant $15,005 in pledged support. Since the campaign fell 99 percent short of achieving its original goal, and all funding was conditional on it being fully funded, the entire exercise seems to have been for naught.
