Apprentice IT Engineer - West London - £14k - Closes 15/03/19

We (Oaklands School & Great Oaks College) are looking to hire an apprentice IT engineer. The successful applicant will follow Firebrand's L3 Infrastructure Technician apprenticeship, leading to a Level 3 qualification along with industry certifications including ITIL Foundation.

 

We have a very modern network (Windows 10, Office 365, brand new everything) on our current site, and our Primary school will open in late 2019 on a site about a mile away after a renovation.

 

There will be significant scope for independent/own-initiative working, particularly when the Primary school opens. The post-holder will be required to work across both sites, with some in-work travel required (no requirement to drive - only about a 10 min walk).

 

Our main site is within a few minutes walk of Osterley tube station, and the H91 bus runs effectively right outside. The Primary site is within walking distance of Isleworth mainline station, and many buses (235, 237, E8, H22, H37; anything that stops at Hounslow Bus Station) run close by.

 

And, not forgetting of course that you'd get to be my minion valued colleague!

 

Salary is £7.50/hr, which works out at a little over £14k per year.
