Hi Guys,

We are still using Adobe Creative Suite - Web Premium CS3, I'm aware this outdated software but it still does everything we need it to do in the classroom.

Sometime ago we started getting the popup appear shown in the attached image when launching the software. Pressing Alt + F4 get's rid of the box and you can continue to use the software, but it will still keep appearing when loading up the software next time.

From memory, when the website was "live" it would display a web form to register the software, and it also had a little tick box to say something along the lines of "Never Register" and then the box wouldn't appear again - Adobe have since shut down these web servers resulting in the page not being able to be reached.

Does anybody know if there's any regedits or hacks that can be done to stop this box from keep appearing please?!?

Thanks

Matt

When we moved to Windows 10 we had to stop installing CS3 due to the issue you're now having, luckily we had 250 licences for CS6 - so that's all we've got now :(

Having been looking into this for months and getting nowhere - and today deciding that I'd post this message today on Edugeek… I've spent some more time digging around the Internet for any clues!

I think I might be onto a winner - inside the Adobe Folder in Program Files for the products there's a file in each called "adobe_registration.dll" - I've renamed the file to "OLDadobe_registration.dll" for now to test, and it seems to have done the trick! I'll monitor for a week or so to see if it has worked and doesn't cause any other issues...

When the pop up screen doesn't appear - and you click on "Help - Registration" the same box would then appear, but renaming the dll file now means that clicking on the registration button does nothing... so fingers crossed!!!
