KODU - Save (any way to set global default?)...

As per the title...

 

Quite a few years late to this obviously, so I hope that's given everyone time to iron out the quirks for me!

 

Teachers have a 'coding' book which instead of using Scratch or some other online tool, needs Kodu. So far I have found out it is best to be locally installed on each machine and requires 'A graphics card that supports DirectX 9.0c and Shader Model 2.0 or higher. .NET Framework 4.0 or higher. XNA Framework 4.0 Redistributable'.

 

So far, so good. However, I'm a bit stumped on how to 'save as' because well, basically there doesn't seem to be that option...

 

There is a 'setting' shortcut placed on the desktop, in which there is the ability to set a default save location, but this appears to need to be manually set per user!

 

Unfortunately, the original default location points to the classic 'My Documents' type location and our students don't have access to this (also the 'Documents' etc. folders are NOT redirected as they use a networked H:\ drive as their home folder.

Just stumbled across this thread and wondered if anyone had found a way to set the save location globally?

 

We'd like to have everything pointing to a network share so that our ICT Teacher can easily review the children's work and its all in one central location.

 

I've just emailed Kodu's support, but not holding out much hope!
