MYK-IT Posted January 28, 2019 Posted January 28, 2019 Experiencing a "green screen of death" type display, as attachment shows: Unable to use the computer, although it is still on the network and AB Tutor Control can still view the display etc. (We have had it before, although I can't remember if we solved it by un/installing AB Tutor Control - may had just been coincidental) Thanks,
bald_pig Posted January 28, 2019 Posted January 28, 2019 That's not just a customised AB Tutor lock screen is it? Try just unlocking it on AB Tutor.
lukeacourt2 Posted March 14, 2019 Posted March 14, 2019 Try a rebuild of the machine it might be the software not a hardware issue
bald_pig Posted March 14, 2019 Posted March 14, 2019 Try a rebuild of the machine it might be the software not a hardware issue I'd like to think that the issue has been resolved in the 2 months since OP posted it...
lukeacourt2 Posted March 14, 2019 Posted March 14, 2019 Same here. But their is a program which mucks everything up in life.
MYK-IT Posted March 14, 2019 Author Posted March 14, 2019 I'd like to think that the issue has been resolved in the 2 months since OP posted it... Yes, we did resolve this issue! Just in case anyone else ever has the same problem, it was related to the mirror display driver that is installed part of AB Tutor - we uninstalled, and reinstalled. NOTE: The mirror display driver has to be removed in Windows Safe Mode; and we had to use Microsoft's utility (https://support.microsoft.com/en-gb/help/17588/windows-fix-problems-that-block-programs-being-installed-or-removed) to allow this.
