We were down, still having issues sending today.

MS say its an AD thing.

 

Interestingly at the beginning of the week a 0-day mailbox user -> domain admin privilege escalation attack was released (exploits the rights and Exchange server has in AD) I expect it will turn out to be MS's first iteration of a fix to that was the root cause of the outage.
