JWEDUTECH Posted January 10, 2019 Posted January 10, 2019 Hi All, Currently we're using lightspeed MDM for our fleet of iPADs.. We have approx 2000 iPADS.. most are shared.. 400 are used for a 1 to 1 and next year we will be adding an additional 400 for 1to1. We have JAMF for our MAC Computers - I'd love to use that for iPADs too but its just too expensive compared to other MDMs. We have the possibility of switching to intune. It will be a lot cheaper for us, and is nice that it does not charge per device.. Does anyone have actual experience using Intune with IPADS? My fear is that Microsoft may not keep on top of new features and changes that Apple makes and integrate it as quickly as other MDMs.. Any help and thoguhts of people that have or currently use intune for iPADS appreciated.. Thank you
DalekSec Posted January 10, 2019 Posted January 10, 2019 It does the basics, i wouldn't say it was decent. Simple things like pushing apps out it does fine but more like to haves like changing the layout of the screen it can't do. Would take a dedicated MDM over it any day. My manager asked me to look to moving from Mosyle to Intune, i said no it's terrible!

Andycat Posted January 11, 2019 Posted January 11, 2019 Due to cost, we use InTune here. We used Meraki previously. It does everything we need it to, albeit ours is a 1:1 scheme and very few are shared.
