Micro SD card Data recovery

Hello,

 

Long shot does anyone no of a reputable data recovery company that can recover photographs off an integral micro SD card that is not recognised in phones/PCs. it has a few milestones of our second child from about aged 6 months it died on Christmas evening

You tried using testdisk (photorec etc) generally find it works most the time unless it’s serious damage etc

Wanted to charge me £8k to look at a broken RAID array, and then if they could recover another £12k to do it.

IR charged £80 for a very difficult recovery that took two days. Very worthwhile IMO.

They are not the cheapest thats true especially with their enterprise services, your talking there a high end data recovery when your talking about saving RAID arrays and higher, they are probably the best around for it and I am in no means denigrating any other services or recommending them over others here,

 

I just know though that Ontrack are quite reasonable from the couple of single hard disk jobs that I have recommended that people use them for(Sub £300 price for data recovery), when I have had people use them, like the original poster, they had the main thing back which was the recovery of years worth of not backed up folders of childrens photos.

Data recovery of defective memory cards (SD, SDHC, Micro SD, CF), USB sticks, SSD if no software helps are the best company I've found and used (not cheap) for memory cards, they only flash memory though, so no spinning disks as far as I am aware.

 

I've seen them get data from completely dead cards that don't appear in device manager and everything. It's also free if they can't get anything off them.
