Set all users to automatically download pictures - O365

Hi All

Hope you're well!! :)

So we've just moved over to O365. The one thing I've noticed as we have a picture in our signature is that all pictures seem to be blocked until users specify to allow pictures from senders.

Is there anyway I can make a global rule in order to make it so that all pictures are downloaded automatically in an email?

Thanks all!!

Actually, no, I cut my knee last night in the dark. :(

I have to echo @Boredguy here. Online hosted picture linking are a way of registering if you have loaded an e-mail, which you certainly don't want to do with spam bots or phishing schemes.

Hey Both

We have a separate spam filter here so all good with that, not too worried. I don't want to accept it on Outlook more so the webmail part is that possible?

Thank you :)

So you mean on OWA not Outlook.

Even using Anti-spam would not stop malicious code in the background when it calls an image to display though.

Unless something has changed recently, there is not a global setting to always download images/pictures for every message. You will need to manage this at the message level or add the message sender to your safe sender's list at a user level

Details on how to adjust the safe senders list can be found here: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/2545137/how-to-set-up-safe-senders-and-blocked-senders-in-office-365
