Hi

We've currently are using Nationwide Trust-E Cashless Catering and we want a message to display to the till operator when selected students use the tills.

Just wondering if anyone can give me a hand or point me in the right direction that would be great

Thanks

Rob

We set up a dietary requirement for certain students for a certain message (ie. check balance) as parents wanted to stop their child using the overdraft facility but Nationwide told us there was no way to do this for individuals, it was an all or nothing.

We wanted the background to change colour for FSM students....wasn’t possible

Do you use the photo option? Possibly edit the picture for said student, however that is pulled from the MIS normally

I looked into this for our students with dietary requirements. There was a lot of 'pointing fingers' going on between us, our canteen provider, our payment software, Sims and NRS. The main (but not only) problem seemed to revolve around the fact that we're running an older version of the Trust-e software, that has limited functionality in this area.

It got too hard so we resorted to supplying the kitchen staff with a list of students where care is required. Hardly ideal but it works for us as we are a small high school and the kitchen staff know our students.

Hi Everyone

Thank you so much for taking the time to reply, it is very much appreciated.

The photo idea is a really good one, we may well do that.

Looking on the page of each individual account, there is a box named "message" it is grayed out and won't let us type in this, does anyone know what this?

Thank again for all your time

Rob

@RobSheehy

The message field comes from ParentPay.

You can turn it on, then log into ParentPay and set a message on a child - but there's nothing stopping the parent deleting/updating the message.
