Non-employee access to Office 365 and other data

We have some contracted agency TA's and teachers here. Up until now they get a restricted desktop with no staff shared area.

Now I have been asked to give them an email account so that would give them access to all of Office 365. And what about other websites?

Do you get them to sign an agreement? What does it say? What do you do?

Here we work on the principle that if you're here working for us you need access to the same set of teaching and supplementary materials whether you're directly employed or agency. As a result agency workers get a full account with the same access as a standard classroom teacher or TA.

We've discussed this a few times here. We only create email accounts for known / long term cover staff. It would be unrealistic to create office365 etc accounts for someone who is here for an hour and then may never be seen again.

Sorry i did a search but didn't find an awful lot to refer to.

 

So so long as we get them to sign to say they will follow the rules that covers us as we are only giving them access to the data (as best as possible) that they need as part of their responsibilities?

Supply / student teachers sign the same AUP as staff directly employed by us. The only real difference is they have a defined "end date" when their accounts automatically disable.
