I have a couple of spreadsheets which are registers of children attending my clubs at school. I initially created them on Excel on my PC and tried to use them on the iPad through the Office 365 app but our account type doesn't allow for editing. This is no problem as I dropped them into google drive and can access and edit them on the iPad.

My problem is that I want to be able to use a pen/stylus to tick the cells when I take the register but there is no option to use anything other than the keyboard which is a bit fiddly when I just want to call names tick and move on.

Are there any apps that allow writing/drawing onto documents? I don't need text recognition just to be able tick or hand write anything onto a spreadsheet or list of names.

I don't mind re-creating the lists in an app that will allow me to write on.

Numbers.

Allows you to enter a table with a tickable list. You can then tick with your finger or most styluses. If you try to tick w/ a Pencil or Logitech Crayon, it automatically does it as a drawing sitting on top of the tickbox rather than ticking the box - kind of works, but not ideal. Might be a way to disable that and have them act like a dumb stylus.
