Publishing overseas visitors photos

Hi,

 

Wonder if someone could answer this for me please.

 

We have been sent a publication with photographs of overseas (from Thailand) visitors who came to our school for a visit which we would like to publish.

 

If we publish what they have sent is it ok that we haven't got consent from them to do it.. they weren't fluent English speakers so would have been an interesting conversation.

Interesting one but if in doubt don't. Have you tried contacting who organised the event and sought permission via them?

I did think that but wouldn't each individual in the photo have to consent.. I'd have to rely on them giving me the correct information.
