azureusnation Posted October 26, 2018 Posted October 26, 2018 (edited) Evening Guys, Got a strange issue when hooking up our Riso ComColor 7150 (heap of scrap plastic and metal to me). When a job is redirected to the Riso print queue it goes in to an error state. Some key info: We are using the Papercut global print driver for the FollowMe input queue The actual printer queues for the printer have their respected driver (e.g. FollowME has the Global Print Driver and the Riso has the Riso 7150 driver) In the print logs in papercut i am seeing these errors everytime a job is redirected to the print queue: 2018-10-26 18:58:03,628 DEBUG: PaperCut MF version 18.2.6.46457 2018-10-26 18:58:03,628 DEBUG: Original spool file: C:\Windows\system32\spool\PRINTERS\00147.SPL 2018-10-26 18:58:03,628 DEBUG: Transform file: D:\Program Files\PaperCut MF\providers\print\win\transforms\system\postscript\pc-win\riso.comcolor.type.transform 2018-10-26 18:58:03,628 DEBUG: ==================================================================================================== 2018-10-26 18:58:03,628 ERROR: obj_list_size: obj_list==NULL 2018-10-26 18:58:03,628 ERROR: obj_list_size: obj_list==NULL 2018-10-26 18:58:03,628 ERROR: obj_list_size: obj_list==NULL 2018-10-26 18:58:03,628 ERROR: obj_list_size: obj_list==NULL 2018-10-26 18:58:03,628 ERROR: obj_list_size: obj_list==NULL 2018-10-26 18:58:03,628 ERROR: obj_list_size: obj_list==NULL 2018-10-26 18:58:03,628 ERROR: obj_list_size: obj_list==NULL 2018-10-26 18:58:03,628 ERROR: obj_list_size: obj_list==NULL 2018-10-26 18:58:03,628 ERROR: obj_list_size: obj_list==NULL 2018-10-26 18:58:03,628 ERROR: obj_list_size: obj_list==NULL 2018-10-26 18:58:03,628 ERROR: obj_list_size: obj_list==NULL 2018-10-26 18:58:03,628 ERROR: obj_list_size: obj_list==NULL 2018-10-26 18:58:03,628 DEBUG: Internal state of interpreter 2018-10-26 18:58:03,628 DEBUG: ==================================================================================================== 2018-10-26 18:58:03,628 DEBUG: Applying 1 replacements to 'C:\Windows\system32\spool\PRINTERS\00147.SPL' 2018-10-26 18:58:08,769 ERROR: Failed to open spool file to copy to archive: C:\Windows\system32\spool\PRINTERS\00148.SPL - The system cannot find the file specified. (Error: 3020) 2018-10-26 18:58:18,811 ERROR: replacement_list_apply_rw failed. Redirecting original spool file All of our Konicas and samsungs work as expected and its just this weird one that just wont work... im soo confused as to why it wont. Any help would be much appreciated or if any one has actually had this issue with a Follow Me scenario with multiple brands and know what the answer is that would be great. Thanks Edited October 26, 2018 by azureusnation
Big_Ted Posted October 30, 2018 Posted October 30, 2018 i would go back a step. Install a print queue using the global driver as a test, point it at the riso and send a print job, does it work?
MatthewL Posted October 30, 2018 Posted October 30, 2018 Do you have advanced printing features turned off on all your queues?
