Howto install the Office Clipart ActiveX?

I have had issues with Active X controls with other software.I found if i logged onto the machine as admin it worked then it worked for subsequent users. But this is a right pain.

 

I presume you have sent this over as an msi package. If not then forget the fisrt step.

 

First are you absolutely sure the .ocx file went across with the msi

package.

 

I had to use a vb script to register the ocx file with the operating system on Computer start up so it worked for all users.

 

If this sounds what you need then PM me and i'll sort the script for you.

I'm going out now for the day(half term hols for me here) but will check back later.

Ok I have fixed the MS Clip Art thing now. I think originally when I first started using MSI packages well over a year ago I was depending on the capture method being fairly new to it all.

To accomplish this fire up you favorite MSI packager.

You need authaz.dll and ieawsdc.dll from you office source.

Have the package place these in %systemroot%\system32 and set them to auto register.
