1^st/2^nd Line ICT Technician – (Portsmouth) * URGENT *

Permanent role (up to £24,000) or Contract (up to £110 PAYE / £140 Ltd or Umbrella)

Our client, a leading Independent Schools Group are looking for an experienced 1^st / 2^nd line ICT Support Technician to provide day-to-day support for the staff and students across two school sites in addition to liaising with the School staff and ICT Service Desk to identify, prioritise and resolve ICT support and service requests.

 

To be considered for this role, you must have previous experience supporting IT within a school or college and be able to drive (with daily access to a car or motorbike), as the sites are approximately 20 – 25 minutes apart.

 

 

Essential technical skills include :

· Windows Server 2008 / 2012 r2 (Administration)

· Active Directory and Group Policy

· Windows 7 / 8 / 10

· MS Office 7 / 10 / 13 / 365 / suites

 

Desirable skills include :

· LAN / WAN / VLAN / Wireless / DNS / DHCP

· SIMS Administration
