Just went on a huge rant in the Edugeek discord over the lack of USB-C, apart from the studio 2. But thats £3000 AND ONLY USB C! Not even THunderbolt 3. Which is bonkers.

So, Surface Pro 4 to Surface Pro to Surface Pro 6. Looks like they're taking the Apple approach to naming conventions too.

It's not undeserved. How on earth did Microsoft manage neglect to include USB-C/Thunderbolt in what's going to be a 2019 product It's almost like they want to pretend the standard doesn't exist!

 

Also the configurator options are as limited as you'd expect from a Microsoft product. If you want 16Gb RAM you also need to buy an i7 CPU (and 51GB SSD) brining to total price up to around £2000

 

On the plus side I love the new black colour scheme though
