GDPR - Open Evening - Student Books

Hi all,

 

A concern has be raised by a member of our staff who recently visited another school for open evening. All the students' books where out with name, year, form and depending on the subject personal information such as what they did over the summer etc. Just after a sound board really is this something we should address before our open evening?

If it's got identifiable information in/on it then the choices are

• you get permission,

• it gets anonymised

• you don't put it out.
