Right in one of our classrooms we have a projector but no smartboard,

now I seem to remember the last time I went to BETT there was some devices that allowed you to turn any surface into a touch surface

but I cant for the life of me remember what they were called

or if they'd work out cheaper than buying a smartboard for that room

anyone remember what they were or if you have one, are they any good?

Not eBeams by any chance were they?

If so, I used to look after a couple of primaries who had them and they weren't brilliant to be honest. Cheap, but nowhere near as food as an interactive screen or board.

If you need a really cheap & cheerful solution, would you consider a refurbished Smartboard as an alternative? You can get a refurb Smartboard 660 or 680 for a couple of hundred quid.
