Office 365 Time Out

Greetings all,

 

An interesting boggle for the panel if I may? We've just updated to Windows 10 in our school, and as a buy product, InVentry refused to run. We have solved this by using the suggested Microsoft Fix and enabled 'Enable insecure guest logons' on a computer GPO. As a result of this, Office 365 web client likes to log out every 30 minutes.

 

Has anyone come across this issue by enabling this policy and knows if there is a counter policy to prevent it? By disabling this we will lose access to InVentry, which is not an option. Fortunately it only effects the four users that require access.

@Trenton_Lister - Did you ever solve this? We are possibly having a similar issue and I think the issue is that their application isn't signed, meaning it needs an admin password.

The staff it effected did comment that it wasn't happening as regular anymore. We put it on a back burner project and haven't gone back to it. They're not complaining that it still signs them out, so we'd forgotten.
