BGINFO - Terminal Servers

Im looking to output the ipaddress of the client is possible via bginfo.

 

I have managed to get client name using the EV but i really would like the client ip.

 

Anyone know of a way to achieve this.

I looked into this a few years ago when we were using some thin clients as we use BGINFO on the workstations but couldn't find any way of doing that...

It’s hard.. I thought about a little messy way of using vbs to dump to a file and then pull that via bginfo. It works if i use a text file I created. Someone must have done it

If someone knew how to get the client up and output it to a file I could do it.

Could the client write the IP address to a local file then share that drive (maybe create a new small partition just for the text file) - if you can get the TS to read from that shared local drive?

Done it.. bit of scripting but managed to get it on bginfo now

That will give you the IP of the server not the client.

Thats local ip not client.
