Centralized Contacts CARDDAV

Hi,

 

I want to be able to have centralized contacts distributed to all our MDM iPhones. I have figured out how to get the contacts from the Mac server through our MDM to the handsets however the only main part i am now stumbling on is having Read Only access. Currently the user could edit said distributed contacts and edit them which would then sync back and sync to every other phone.

 

There must be a way round this or maybe a solution you are using that can maybe point me in a better direction as i feel i am just going round in circles here

 

Any help would really be appreciated
