Hi all,

We have 100 HP 800 G1 USDTs here and are currently deploying Windows 10 to them.

We have imaged 25 machines without an issue but have one machine that is causing us an issue.

It runs through the workflow then during application install will stop on a random app and produce a 1603 error (or similar).

Sometimes it's early in the install applications on Adobe CS6 (Our first app) and sometimes it's later on towards the end of the application install.

All machines were on the same version of the BIOS (although the machine causing an issue has been updated to the latest version).

BIOS has been factory reset.

Have booted to a command prompt and done a diskpart and cleaned the drive.

I have also tried moving the machine to another place where I know that machines have imaged fine to eliminate something network related.

Every, single, time! It fails at some point during the application install - But only on this one device!

So annoying - Any other suggestions or pointers would be appreciated.

Thanks all

Dodgy RAM or HDD?

If your TS runs OK on other computers of the model and failing on just this one randomly then it's most probably a HW issue.

We had the same on a brand new laptop recently and it took some convincing before the 3rd party engineer swapped out the RAM.

Incidentally I moved the machine to a different room and it imaged first time without an issue.

Tested the network points and all passed so we will just have to put it down to one of those random things!
