[1803, au] 1803 Start Menu - "Choose Which Folders Appear on Start"

Morning all,

 

Was just wondering if anyone had found a way of removing pinned options for Documents and Pictures on the Start Menu in 1803?

I'm not keen on the registry option as it doesn't seem that clean and I can't see any options in GP....

 

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Those icons cannot be controlled and can only be chosen/setup during a config snap of an OS meaning:-

Deploy OS > Ctrl + Shift + F3 > Change Icons and then sysprep with copyprofile.

You can search my history going back 2 years ago for more info on the process I used to follow for this in an RDS thread. Nowadays I can't be bothered as CopyProfile as flaky at the best of times and Start Menu layouts are all GPO.
