I'm trying to get the new BTEC National levels to appear in Course Manager but no luck. In Manage Course Classifications, if I change the Type box to Level they don't appear even though I've imported the new QAN files and opened them to check the courses are there. How do I get them to show?

It's the codes that designate what course it is. Example: GCE2Y is the code for a Two-Year Linear A-Level course.

The ones I can't get to show are:

BDN

BXC

BXD

BNF

BCN

BNA

There's a specific procedure to follow that entails more than just importing the QAN files... but I can't remember what it is as it's a few years since I last had anything to do with data and I no longer have access to that area of SIMS to prod about. Page 17 here may be of use: https://www.egfl.org.uk/sites/default/files/Finance_data/Data_collection/School_census/Capita%20Managing%20Courses.pdf

My hazy memory is also saying something about going forward the level needing assigning somewhere in Nova too during timetabling to ease issues later on... but I could be wrong on that one.

It's Refresh Basedata in T6 you are thinking of. The problem I have is they won't appear in the list when refreshing.
