[ipad] Proxy Settings Section is missing from Settings

I have a lot of iPads all set up with Proxy settings in, but am having problems with one that isn't connecting to the internet, and when I go into the network settings section to check the proxy is right, the whole section is missing.

 

It's an older iPad Mini, so it's as up to date as it will go on ios 9.0.3 but I have factory reset it and the same thing has happened again. Not really sure what else I can try?

 

Anyone seen this before?

This happens when a profile is installed with "global HTTP proxy" configured.

A profile has been installed, but it's been removed and it's still like this.

Once the profile is removed try force closing the settings app by double tapping home and swiping up. The proxy section should come back then.

I have a website filter on this iPad to prevent YouTube access, and this seems to create a Global Proxy, I didn't know that.

Very useful, as I would have never sussed it out.
